“A sandy beach with some tidal pools, backed by a raised promenade lined with colourful traditional wooden beach huts. Low cliffs form the backdrop and beautiful cliff top gardens offer an alternative quiet area to sit and relax. Facilities include café,  toilet, shower, first aid station, shops and maritime museum.”

Nature and Wildlife: The beach is on the Poppy Trail and is adjacent to an Area of Natural Beauty. County “Quiet Lanes” project gives access to the coast for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

Cleaning and Litter: The beach is cleaned daily and there are mobile litter pickers for emergency collections. There are litter bins and dog bins but dogs are banned from the beach from 1st May to 30th September.
