For almost five centuries the picturesque turrets of Melford Hall have dominated Long Melford’s village green. Melford Hall is an eclectic mixture of old and new, and its architecture and furnishings chart changing tastes and fashions of successive generations who have called Melford Hall home.

Above all though, Melford is a story of love, determination, and survival after it was almost destroyed in both 1642 and 1942. Today it remains a welcoming family home where you can follow in the footsteps of Beatrix Potter and royalty and experience the hospitality and charm that this wonderful Suffolk gem has always offered.
