Lets face it, hostels are the backbone to the backpacking world. Where there are hostels there are backpackers. The East of England has award winning hostels, hostels by the sea, hostels in the countryside and hostels in cities, so that's a good selection of hostels. Hostels in the East of England offer a range of accommodation options, from private ensuite rooms to single sex and mixed dorms. Most have excellent kitchen facilities for self catering, but can also point you to an excellent local pub if the idea of cooking simply doesn't fit with the relaxing nature of this beautiful part of the world.
